Foster Based Care
Foster homes are the heart of Rising Sun Animal Rescue’s lifesaving efforts. Each animal is placed in a temporary home where they receive individualized care, socialization, and attention in a safe and nurturing environment. Fosters play a critical role in helping animals adjust to life outside of the shelter, preparing them for transport and adoption.
Rising Sun provides foster families with the support, resources, and guidance they need to care for each animal successfully. Transport Program
Transport is a vital component of Rising Sun Animal Rescue’s mission to save at-risk animals. Once animals are stabilized in foster care, we coordinate safe, reliable transport to trusted partner rescues where they have increased access to adoption opportunities. Our transport program allows us to extend the reach of local shelters and foster homes, connecting animals with the resources and communities that can give them the best chance at a permanent home.
Every transport is carefully planned to prioritize the safety, comfort, and well-being of the animals.
